Brand new Krankenhaus Rüdersdorf achieves fastest implementation of UltraGenda Pro ever
The very first implementation of UltraGenda in Germany has set a record mark: a mere 5 weeks after contract award, on the very day of its grand opening, Immanuel Klinik Rüdersdorf, one of the hospitals of the Immanuel Diakonie Group went live with UltraGenda Pro.
The Immanuel Diakonie Group is among UltraGenda’s latest customers, and our first one in Germany. The Group operates acute and rehabilitation hospitals as well as a number of centers for ambulant care and specialist facilities such as rheumatology and pain clinics. On its second largest hospital site in Rüdersdorf, the Immanuel Diakonie Group has erected a brand new acute hospital and polyclinic with departments for a range of disciplines ranging from internal and palliative medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, to neurology, pain clinic, pediatrics, anesthesiology, intensive care and psychiatry. The hospital was recently opened by the Health Minister and started its operations effectively on 20th November.
When the Group decided for our solution mid October, they faced us with a challenge: start scheduling with UltraGenda Pro from day 1. In partnership with the Group’s IT and consulting team and with our partner HIM (Health Information Management GmbH, supplier of the Patient Clinical System), installation, integration with the administrative and clinical systems, training and start-up were achieved in a stunning record pace of five weeks.
On the morning of Friday 20th November, when patients were transferred from the old hospital site to the new one and Klinik Rüdersdorf opened its doors, UltraGenda Pro had become the sole scheduling system—truly a record!
Other hospitals of the Group are planned to go live within the next months. All stakeholders have been delighted with the results achieved and have committed to promoting the UltraGenda solution further in the German market.
