UG Bedman is UltraGenda’s solution to forecast and manage bed capacities in the hospital. Although UG Bedman can be used as a stand-alone application, its true power comes to the fore when integrated with UltraGenda Pro. In this capacity, UG Bedman combines resource scheduling and bed reservation functions. When scheduling a procedure requiring a bed stay, UltraGenda Pro queries UG Bedman as to the availability of a suitable bed for a number of days/nights as specified in the relevant procedure. If sufficient capacity remains, UltraGenda Pro proceeds with the booking and the bed reservation.
